Are you sick of going to clubs and suffering through 37 terrible songs just to hear one worth being awake for? Future Mondays at Propaganda is the cure for what ails ya. The Two Johns spin a mix of garage, soul, indie rock, funk, and more to get your cynical ass shaking all over the dance floor; but that’s not the coolest part. You’re encouraged to bring your own records and show off how superior your musical taste is to the rest of the denizens. That means you’re more likely to hear some homespun Gogol Bordello song than the latest Chris Brown disaster - and that’s a beautiful thing. $2.50 wells and domestics and $1.50 PBRs keep the party moving. Rumor has it a badass local singer/songwriter will be slinging the booze as well (it's a secret at the moment, but he is from Lake Worth).

Head on down to 6 South "J" St. in Lake Worth to get your groove on Propaganda style. Visit propagandalw.com.
Mondays, 7 p.m. Starts: April 20. Continues through Aug. 2, 2009
