Sift through some trashy fine art today at Greener , an exhibition of innovative sculptures, collages, photographs and more, some made from objects the uninspired would deem garbage: auto parts, scrap metal, soda cans, matches, and even a television. The artists represented are mostly locals, except Nancy Asbell from Jacksonville and Samantha Churchill from Tampa, whose coiled Brain Freeze sculpture was made of aluminum found on a construction site. These works all depict nature and show appreciation for the planet we are destroying, so should guilt overwhelm you, you can always pick up a flier there from the Green League of Broward with resource lists, upcoming event information, and environmental action alerts.
