Prom night may already be a fond memory for local high school students (well, the lucky ones, at least). But for the class that attends the night school known as Respectable Street, all the prom-night fun goes down at this Sunday’s ’80s Prom. For the third year in a row now, Respectable Street gets a John Hughes-style makeover as girls split the difference between Madonna and Molly Ringwald, and guys fall somewhere between John Cusack and Jon Bon Jovi (though, more likely Jon “Duckie” Crier). Sure, many of the prom-goers aren’t old enough to remember how the ’80s actually were, but that’s the beauty — it’s about ’80s pop culture as an ideal. Plus, there’s going to be spiked punch, prizes for best dressed, and prom photos taken under a balloon-covered archway.

The free prom starts Sunday night at 9. Put on your Members Only jacket and head over to 518 Clematis St. in West Palm Beach. Call 561-832-9999, or visit respectablestreet.com.
