Sometimes all you get back from a night of sushi and cocktail mass consumption is a hefty bill, but tonight you can actually chow for charity. RA Sushi locations nationwide are hosting their fifth annual Nicky’s Week fundraiser in honor of a founder’s nephew who died at age 13 of brain cancer, and all you have to do to contribute is down edamame, RA’s signature Tootsy Maki, and shrimp shumai. Then slurp FIJI, Red Bull, the Republic of Tea products, and select cocktails to contribute even more. All proceeds from the sale of those items will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fund treatment and cures for various life-threatening illnesses.

The company’s goal is to reach $510,000 this year, so arrive hungry from now until May 30 at these local RA Sushi locations: 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave. in Palm Beach Gardens (561-340-2112), and 201 SW 145th Terr. in Pembroke Pines (954-342-5454). Call or visit rasushi.com for more information.
