For all those who regret overlooking photography 101 in college, here’s your chance to flex your photography muscles, or index finger, in a free group offered by the Secret Woods Nature Center in Dania Beach. The free photography group will meet on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4 p.m., and photography subjects will be determined according to participants’ interests and skill level. Learn basic camera setups, photo-shooting techniques, and editing techniques, and then head out into the nature center to shoot. Although participation is free, registration is required. And there’s a minimum of four people per session. So grab a few friends, some cameras, and head into the jungle, or the closest thing to it in Dania Beach.
Thursdays, 2:30 p.m. Starts: June 4. Continues through July 23, 2009
