Game shows mostly fill the air slots of daytime television - and during the day, it's exciting to win prizes such as a really cool orange juice maker. (Or so it seems by the elated faces on the television set.) And even though these shows are held in a studio lot, we don't mind because, well, we're not the ones stuck there. Game shows should be held in bars just for the relaxing refreshments.

If you want to be in a game show, travel on down to Bill's Filling Station on a Wednesday night at 9 for Let's Make a Deal or No Deal. Nikki Adams hosts the show, and you're a contestant if you have an item she's looking for. At the end of the show, the participant with the highest dollar value gambles again: Do you keep what you have or go for what's behind curtain number one? Or what's in the box? Choices are easier after a few drinks.

Bill's Filling Station is at 1243 NE 11th Ave. in Wilton Manors. Call 954-525-9403, or visit billsfillingstation.com for more details.
Wednesdays, 9 p.m. Starts: July 1. Continues through Dec. 30, 2009
