Throwing You to the Sharks
Sharks and gamblers go together in so ways that it's impossible to make a precise analogy. Loan sharks, pool sharks, card sharks, a gambler will run into some form of shark at some point in his or her profession. But not until now -- ok maybe in the late '70s after the movie Jaws -- have slots been associated with the beasts of the sea. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is partnering with the Florida Aquarium to heighten awareness about the dangers sharks face, like... umm... extinction. Great White slot machines are now available in the casino.

Four drawings for $200 in "Free Play" and four Florida Aquarium (located in Tampa) tickets will be held at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a drawing for the night's grand prize, which includes dinner for two at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, four tickets to the Florida Aquarium, NAUI SCUBA certification, and a Dive with the Sharks Encounter.
