Future bridesmaids, do us a favor: Next time a friend considers the til-death-do-us business, avoid the obvious penis-shaped party favors and tag team of lapdances at LaBare and instead escort your friend to the Broadway smash Mamma Mia! Despite all the high camp and presence of ABBA, the musical offers some surprisingly sage marital advice — and you can dance in the aisles to it! As her wedding day approaches, 20-year-old Sophie becomes desperate to discover who her real father is so he can walk her down the aisle. She faces three possibilities: the architect (who represents stability), the banker (money) and the adventurer (impulse). But rather than settle for any of these options, Sophie and husband-to-be make some surprising moves. In the end, we see that fathers are more than DNA donors; they signify the reasons we get hitched in the first place.
