Six Glasses of Wine with Dinner? What a Capital Idea!By Brett GillinPublished on August 05, 2009 at 12:00amThe Riverwalk Trust, The Capital Grille, and Kind Wines are helping raise money to liven up the New River area by stuffing gourmet food and fine wines down your throat. The five-course Riverwalk Trust Wine Dinner includes shrimp tempura, Tandoori tuna, braised bone-in short rib, and a chocolate lava cake. Each course is paired with a glass of wine, ranging from Pinot Gris to Cabernet Sauvignon, and theyre all being served under the gorgeous art-deco chandeliers and mahogany paneling of The Capital Grille (2430 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). Five courses plus six glasses of wine, with the knowledge that a portion of the proceeds go to the Riverwalk Trust, should leave you floating away from the table tonight. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. and costs a steep $120 per person, but it includes tax and gratuity. To make a reservation, call 954-468-1541 or visit goriverwalk.com.
