The Riverwalk Trust, The Capital Grille, and Kind Wines are helping raise money to liven up the New River area — by stuffing gourmet food and fine wines down your throat. The five-course Riverwalk Trust Wine Dinner includes shrimp tempura, Tandoori tuna, braised bone-in short rib, and a chocolate lava cake. Each course is paired with a glass of wine, ranging from Pinot Gris to Cabernet Sauvignon, and they’re all being served under the gorgeous art-deco chandeliers and mahogany paneling of The Capital Grille (2430 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). Five courses plus six glasses of wine, with the knowledge that a portion of the proceeds go to the Riverwalk Trust, should leave you floating away from the table tonight.

Dinner starts at 7 p.m. and costs a steep $120 per person, but it includes tax and gratuity. To make a reservation, call 954-468-1541 or visit goriverwalk.com.
