Come on Down, Southerners!

Years ago, those kind folks at The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum got together and figured out that we need a festival to celebrate our Southern style, and thus, Living Heritage Day was born. If you just luuurve to chow down on collard greens and fried cornbread while listening to stories about the days of yore and singing the blues, this year’s event is for you. It will offer all the aforementioned, along with craft demonstrations, kids’ activities and games, and a painting demo by Highwaymen artist R. L. Lewis. One of his works will be raffled off, with the proceeds going to the Spady’s Kids Cultural Club.
