Nuclear Comedy

How’s this for funny? Comedian Nathaniel Stoman, better known as Earthquake, admitted on the Howard Stern Show that during his stint in the U.S. Air Force, he nearly wiped Louisiana off the map. Earthquake said he nearly dropped a live nuclear weapon while daydreaming. What was so tantalizing as to take Quake’s mind off loading live nukes? He claims he was busy thinking about that night’s 2 Live Crew concert. When Earthquake isn’t busy humming “Me So Horny” while endangering the entire free world, he’s honing his straight-ahead comedystyle and building a fiercely loyal fanbase. Take cover at the Palm Beach Improv (550 S. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach) starting at 8 p.m. Friday to Sunday. Tickets run $23.43, and there is a two-drink minimum. Call 561-833-1812 or visit palmbeachimprov.com.
Fri., Aug. 21, 8 & 10:30 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 22, 7 & 9:15 p.m.; Sun., Aug. 23, 7 p.m., 2009
