Whose Phobia Is It Anyway?
Paranoia is contagious, so when the media throws a new phobia our way, what happens? We bring it to work. We talk about it around the ol’ water cooler (How often do you think they change that water filter anyways?). We bring it home (Do you think the TV is eating our brain cells?) Yes, we have all gotten our panties in a paranoid twist. Remember SARS? Y2K? The explosion of the internet? If you like to laugh your phobias away, catch “Swine Flu Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” at Mos'Art Theater at 8 p.m. Swine flu, among other phobias, will be the theme. Besides the pre-rehearsed opening and closing skits and a few musical numbers in between, The Jove Comedy Experience will put out an exciting improv show -- think a cross between Saturday Night Live and Whose Line Is It Anways?
