Hardcore beer drinkers, come and experience your personal Everest this Friday. The Rock ’N’ Brew event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (One Seminole Way, Hollywood) invites beer enthusiasts to drink their way around the globe and sample more than 100 beers (or four hours’ worth). Try to hit the Harbin Lager (China), Famosa (Guatemala), and Estrella Damm (Barcelona) tents, and make sure to stop in the “northeast” for microbrews like Red Hook’s Slim Chance (outta Brooklyn) and in the “southern hemisphere” for Venezuela's Polar, a surprisingly fresh-tasting pilsener.

Entertainment will be provided by local band DC 3 and DJ/Playmate Colleen Shannon. Don't worry about getting home if you don't have a designated driver (who, by the way, gains admission for half-price); a “Know When To Say When” program will provide free cab rides. The travels commence Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20 to 25 ($10 for designated drivers). Call 1-800-745-3000, or visit ticketmaster.com.
