You have a nagging urge for some chowdah, but you'd rather not drive the cah all the way to New England. Here’s some wicked cool news: You can sample some of the tastiest chowders, crab cakes, and of course, clams at the 8th Annual Hollywood Beach Clambake. Food’s just a smidge of this pahty: Check out the live music by local and national acts including Hep Cat Boo Daddies, Pancho Sanchez, and Jason Ricci and New Blood. Rev up the engine on the South Broadwalk during the motorcycle show. If the only thing you're good at making disappear is your cash after buying too many funnel cakes, you will appreciate the magician troupe House of Flying Cards. The festival also covers Friday and Saturday, but today’s hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Hollywood Beach Bandshell is located on Hollywood beach at Johnson Street. Admission is free.
