Say you have a crazy dream that youre copiloting a plane, and Jon Bon Jovi is the pilot. Soon, he gets up and asks you to grab the controls. Why would he do this? Hint: This dream isnt revealing you were meant to be a pilot. Its to tell you to take control of your life. But how? If you want more of a concrete answer, its time to hit the tarot deck. Lucky for you, Aleph the Seeker holds tarot card workshops at Unitarian Fellowship of South Florida (1812 Roosevelt Street, Hollywood) the first three Mondays and Wednesdays of each month.

More About
You can call tarot cards a parlor trick if you want but they can soon be a parlor trick youll be able to pull off yourself. Theres nothing magical about all this, says Aleph the Seeker, who considers a deck a very useful tool. I dont call myself a pyschic, he explains, Im just a card reader. During a session, its best if you bring your personal tarot deck the Rider-Waite-Smith version and have a question ready to ask. Shuffle the deck, and soon, youll have a few cards in front of you. On Mondays, Aleph the Seeker teaches folks how to read cards; Wednesdays are about the interpretation of the cards the symbology and history behind the tarot deck. Each workshop starts at 7:30 p.m. and costs $5. All proceeds go to Unitarian Fellowship. Call 954-394-3342, or visit uuhollywood.com.
