Dwyane Wade and Co. need to send the guy who came up with the 2009-10 NBA schedule a Christmas card as the Heat play eight of its first 10 games at home. Tuesday, November 10, the Wizards visit American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). The Wizards have underachieved the past two seasons due to injuries to star Gilbert Arenas, who is out to prove he’s finally healthy. Center Brendan Haywood, who missed 76 games in 2008-09, and former Gator, Mike Miller are members of a supporting cast also adapting to new coach Flip Saunders’ fast, precision offense that the Heat will need to find a way to slow. Expect second-year Heat coach Eric Spoelstra to let his team stroll and force Washington to play defense. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $10. Call 866-448-7849, or visit ticketmaster.com
