Amuse Your Bouche

Figuring out where to eat dinner can be a major pain in the ass, even if the best restaurants weren't scattered haphazardly across South Florida. These days it's stressful to gamble your hard-earned scratch on an unknown restaurant in hopes of discovering the next great joint to hit on a date. This is what makes a trip to 150 Worth (150 Worth Ave., Palm Beach) Thursday night for the Third Annual Palm Beach Food And Wine Festival well worth it. For a measly 50 simoleons you get to spend two hours helping yourself to food and drinks from upwards of 40 tasting tables hosted by places like Café Boulud, Michelle Bernstein’s at The Omphoy, Timo Restaurant, Francis Ford Coppola Winery, and Zyr Russian Vodka.

But, chef groupies will want to super-size it for another 25 bucks and cop a VIP ticket for early access to amuse-bouche tastings hosted by James Beard Award-winner Michelle Bernstein; Barton G’s Executive Chef Ted Mendez; Tim Andriola, owner of Timo Restaurant; and Johnny Vinczencz, owner of Johnny V and Smith & Jones. Bonus: At the end of the night, it won’t just be the booze making you feel good. 50 percent of ticket sales will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. (VIP admission starts at 6). Visit palmbeachfoodandwinefestival.com.
