Open Mic, Open Mind

There are two kinds of funk. One is the crusty kind that has likely been collecting on Rush Limbaugh’s microphone, and the other is the deep sweetness that travels through the open mic at the Funky Buddha Lounge (2621 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton) every Wednesday night. If it’s the latter you crave, then grab your acoustic or notebook of poems. Acts of all kinds are welcome at this happening, and acts of all kinds arrive. This place is so chill, it could turn even your edgy act into a peaceful rap. So if you want to get on stage, show up early (8 p.m.) to reserve your spot. That goes for you too, Rush. The show starts at 9 p.m., and it’s free to get in. Visit myspace.com/thefunkybuddhalounge.

Your disgusting comment about the funk on Rush Limbaugh's mic shows your inadequate, immature and bipartisan journalism, par for the course in the media

You're a moron....what about the funk spewing from your mouth? Schmuck!
