Jay-Z

Jay-Z is the man with a thousand names: Hova, Jigga, Jiggaman, Iceberg Slim, and most recently, it seems you can even call him Caesar. It's apropos, since he's arguably the most prolific person ever to emerge from the rap game. Consider that he's sold more than 30 million copies of his records worldwide and that he's been at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 multiple times. He's second only to the Beatles in most number-one albums, for a total of 11. That means he's beaten out Elvis, Springsteen, Streisand, and the Rolling Stones.

Whatever you call him, he's richer than all of you combined.

But Jiggaman hasn't been content to be a rapper alone. He set out to be one of the most successful impresarios in the country too, starting his Roc-A-Fella imprint the year he debuted Reasonable Doubt. Of course, he also created the Rocawear clothing line, opened the 40/40 Club, scored the position of CEO at Def Jam, and, on top of that, bought the New Jersey Nets. No question, Jay-Z's is an empire state of mind.
