From Riches to Lesser Riches

Dwyane Wade is an unstoppable badass. He won his first career NBA All Star award two weeks ago, leading the East to a 141-139 victory in front of 108,713 fans at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. And to top that off, he led the East with 28 points, 11 assists, and five steals.

“To be able to perform in front of a crowd like that,” Wade said afterward, “I know that. I know I can do it; I’ve done it before. To be able to put on a show like that and to get the win and to make key plays down the stretch was what I like.” Wade’s reward after such a stellar performance playing alongside guys like LeBron James and Chris Bosh? To return to Miami and play alongside guys like Mario Chalmers and Rafer Alston! Wade’s Miami Heat hosts the Milwaukee Bucks today at the American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Tip-off is at 3:30 p.m. Tickets start at $10. Visit nba.com/heat.
