Since brothers Carl Almasy and Rich Coccaro formed Nothing Rhymes With Orange in 2005, they’ve been carefully crafting their image as a polished alt-rock, Britpop group that just happens to be hanging out in South Florida until the queen calls them home. The brothers, who look and sound like the Gallagher boys from Oasis circa 1996, managed to take a style of music that has no real footing in South Florida and build enough of a following to book support gigs with the likes of John Mayer and the Bravery. Now the band is playing Propaganda (6 S. J St., Lake Worth) for the debut of its latest album, The Happiness Struggle. They’ll be joined by one of Florida’s only progressive pop bands, Dreaming in Stereo, which is led by multi-instrumentalist and catchy lyricist Fernando Perdomo. Jim Camacho, a vocal-heavy contemporary pop singer/songwriter, will also play. Tickets cost $5. Call 561-547-7273, or visit propagandalw.com.
