Volunteer Drinking

If you would like to help out troubled teens without interrupting your busy drinking schedule, come out Saturday to Seminole Hard Rock’s First Pub Crawl. A small donation of $15 in advance or $20 at the door benefits Covenant House of Florida, a nonprofit that helps at-risk young people under 21, including teen parents and their children — while you drink. So, as the mature and responsible adult that you are, you’re free to get your drink on from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at eight Hard Rock clubs. The fee also includes free entry to an afterparty from 10 p.m. to midnight at Gryphon Nightclub, where there will be a surprise guest DJ. To pay in advance, visit youngpros.net or blacktie-southflorida.com. To pay at the door, check in just outside the Lucky Street garage elevators or at the center fountain in Seminole Paradise (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood). Do your part: Help the teens at Covenant House stay on the straight and narrow path by wandering as far off that path as you can. After all, you wouldn’t want to stand in their way.
