And now from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, BC won’t only provide the goods during a giant clearance sale, they’ll take your goods — AKA those boards you haven’t touched in years, even accessories — and sell those, too, at their first “Board Swap” event. A consignment sale goes like this: You hand over your item to BC, and, if it sells, BC gets a percentage and you get the rest either in check form or store credit. This is the time to take in that old skateboard, skimboard, or boogie board and start earning store credit toward purchasing your own stand-up paddleboard so you can guzzle beer on your own personal floating device during BC’s next full-moon board session.
