Curtis and Marquita Houston's barbecue haven moved from its longtime Boynton Beach location to north Boca Raton in March. The new digs are more spacious, with a 50-seat dining room that wraps around the restaurant's sunny halls. The staff's disposition is just as cheery, which is good, since Rib Bizz is a full-service cue joint. What it serves isn't perfect barbecue, but Rib Bizz does some things very well. First, the downside: The namesake ribs are more grilled than smoked, and the racks are rather skimpy, studded with shiners (bones peeking through the meat). But they do sport an excellent and unconventional rub with big flecks of herb and spice. A big-ass pulled-pork sandwich dubbed the "porker" has crisp cole slaw and a great bun, but the pork is dry and flavorless, like it sat in a holding tray for too long. The sides, however, are all great. Collard greens are bittersweet and studded with pork; the beans have too much brown sugar but balance out thanks to the addition of ground beef and bacon. Prices are cheap enough to make it a decent spot for locals, but the barbecue needs improvement to make it a long-range destination.

I agree with Rib Bizz Hater.........I'll never eat at this place again. It almost seems like the servers had no idea how to wait on tables. It should be illegal for them to tha "BBQ" in their name.

Good call, it's one of the worst places I have ever eaten, hands down. The service is awful, the ribs are awful, the atmosphere is awful, the pulled pork was mushy and basically awful (the bun was good.) I am sick to my stomach and it took me an hour to get my food and 15 minutes to pay. Not sure how one comes up with the name "Rib Bizz" when the ribs are tough and chewy and clearly never saw even a hint of smoke.

the chicken was so bad.... the music was so loud.. never going back again!!!!

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The fried chicken was left over chicken that was refried. the garlic bread was oil on bread and not toasted. The corn muffin was stale. The sides were overly sweet. The candied sweet potatoes were mashed sweet potatoes. I am feeling so sick now.

Rib Bizz is a much needed eatery in Boca..I've eaten there many times and the foodis terrific...while not overly smokey the food is flavorful...the greens are the best around...I've been to q joints throughout the South and most places in Florida don't measure up...Rib Bizz does!

Sides are great? I don't go out to eat sides. With all the good rib joints in and around Boca, why would we ever go to a place that has no flavor, no meat and no sense of what BBQ is? Decent spot for locals? Please don't insult us! I'm passing on ever trying this out.
