Much of '50s musical nostalgia and neorockabilly is typically, although perhaps inadvertently, form over function. Not that there's anything wrong with more tattoos than talent and more stage theatrics than technicality — it usually makes for highly entertaining live shows. NYC natives Izzy and the Kesstronics, however, are some top-tier roots musicians.

If you check the itinerary on their current U.S. tour, you'll also see they're the type of band that plays several times in the same city — but not Fort Lauderdale. Poor House hosts the lone opportunity to catch Izzy and company locally.
