Better Living Through a Museum

If you’re looking to improve your nutrition or hold up the aging process, the second-annual Green, Health, and Wellness Expo at the South Florida Science Museum is a necessary stop. It’s not giving away Botox, but it is teaching people how to live, and age, healthfully. Sponsored by Whole Foods, there are cooking demonstrations and food on offer, plus games and crafts for children and exhibits that will function much like “The More You Know” segments. The South Florida Science Museum at large has all the trappings of a highly involving museum: a digital planetarium, freshwater and saltwater aquariums, and upward of 50 interactive exhibits.

The Green, Health, and Wellness Expo takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the South Florida Science Museum (4801 Dreher Trail N., West Palm Beach). Admission costs $9 or less. Call 561-832-1988, or visit sfsm.org.
