Remember the Christmas (or Chanukah) when your parents got your brother a magic set and for the next month you were tortured with endless card tricks and that collapsing wand? You were so glad when he finally stopped pulling coins from your ears and asking, Is this your card? (It never was.) Mike Super (yes, thats his real last name) never really grew out of that phase we feel sorry for his siblings. But its good news for audiences at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. Luckily, Super has moved beyond ear coins to become a full-grown illusionist. Hes a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians. (We know, we thought they were made up too. Theyre real.) You can see Mike Super: Magic and Illusion at 6 or 9 p.m. Saturday and at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $32. The Kravis Center is located at 701 Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach. Call 561-832-7469, or visit kravis.org.
