Not-so-cowardly Lions not in Detroit Anymore

There’s a good chance that the end of this week will have you feeling like you’re a Griswold (no, that’s not some grizzly bear-beast, and you should really watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation). Even if the previous statement doesn’t ring true and you’re just looking for somewhere to catch a little Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions action on Sunday, the crew over at Neighborhood Sports Bar and Grill in Boca has you covered.

With 58 TVs and two projection screens, there’s no nosebleed section, so all you’ll have to worry about is making sure your bucket of five for $10 domestics/$15 imports doesn’t get warm. If the holidays have you watching your waistline, don’t fret; they also have $3 Captain Morgan drinks. The brunch menu is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the full menu runs all day, featuring everything from classics like burgers, hot dogs, and cheese steaks to the unexpected almond-crusted dolphin with a dark rum butter sauce.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m., but don’t let that stop you from escaping your house early because Neighborhood Sports Bar and Grill (6450 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton) opens its doors at 11 a.m. and won’t kick you out until 2 a.m. — or whenever you become a belligerent nuisance. Call 561-241-6081, or visit neighborhoodsportsbar.com.
Sun., Dec. 26, 1 p.m., 2010
