Miami quartet Astari Nite seems to have found a second home in West Palm Beach, where the band's take on dark Anglophilia seems to go down particularly well during regular gigs at Respectable Street. Led by the lanky, louche Mychael Ghost, after a few years on the circuit, the group is finally making some moves. Last month saw the band playing to its biggest audience yet, opening (if oddly) for the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus at Revolution.

Then, in late January, Astari Nite signed a management deal with Creator Entertainment, a new company founded by veteran concert promoter Danny Chasan, who's served as Ultra Music Festival's marketing director for the past eight years. The new agreement means, yes, the band will grace a stage at the upcoming edition of Ultra — but not before honing its chops on the road a little more. This Friday's edition of Transmission Fridays at Respectable Street marks the kickoff of Astari Nite's "Politics of Love" tour, which will travel the East Coast through the month.
