Dont consider yourself too hip to see me. That was Bill Cosbys confident message in a promo for his current standup comedy tour. In response, it would be a funny move for all attendees to rock their ugliest/hippest Cosby sweaters to the show. He will be at Seminole Hard Rock (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood) on Thursday. (Just a suggestion.)

More About
It is through his role as the lovable Dr. Huxtable in The Cosby Show, his radically wholesome standup, and, of course, his sweet-as-puddin Jell-O pimpin that Cosby has chuckled his way deep into the psyche of the past two generations of Americans. Though the Cos" is coming up on his 75th birthday, he hasnt slowed down a bit on the trail of comedy and mentoring. Recently, he has received lots of attention, positive and negative, for his criticism of black youth and parents, calling on them to hold [themselves] to higher standards. A well-rounded family man, he has always drawn on his memories of being a kid and his experiences as a husband and father for inspiration for his various projects. And theres always been an intention to educate as well as provide a good laugh through his work. The doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets cost $39 to $69.
