As you circle the scene, immersed in artwork on walls and artistic activity everywhere, you may become dizzy. At all times — as this big, lovely planet revolves around the sun — personal revolutions are taking place in the minds of the artists. These new works inspire further works, and on and on. It’s a cyclical thing. Sunday, several artists who work in diverse media will be rounded up at Dada for “Invoke the Arts.” DJs will spin indie dance, breaks, house, and dubstep; cameras will roll, as the event is being filmed for an upcoming documentary; and the hips of the Hoop So Fly crew will gyrate, sending Hula-Hoops ’round and ’round.

Just think: Later, you’ll have the chance to relive the experience when it is reborn in film form. From there, you may paint a picture depicting a scene from the film, at which point, like in the Lion King, Raffiki will hold your canvas to the sun from a cliff over the Serengeti.
