Halloween Takes the Fetish Party Up a Notch

Costuming can be about embracing your alter ego. Or it can be about a shitty downgrade. Your choice. For Fetish Factory's Halloween Fetish Ball at Exit 66 on Saturday, anyone in costume gets in. But here's a hint: At fetish parties, it's all about becoming your alter ego. Your alter ego does not wear a Joe Schmoe button-down, a band T-shirt, or a Barney Rubble costume. An office blouse? Not that either -- unless you're dressed as a very sexy librarian -- but, really, that's not Halloween; wear that to Fetish Factory's Back to School Fetish Party next year. Think about it: When the tie comes off, who do you want to become? Have you ever worn a vampiric, black leather vest that hangs to the floor with a black cowboy hat, complete with black eyeliner? You might love how it feels wearing a tight, vinyl gown. And masks.

The Halloween Fetish Ball will give you plenty of eye stimuli -- the club will be full of individuals embracing another aspect of themselves. Performances at these events are always sexy, scary, well-executed, and messy. This is Fetish Factory's best-attended party -- expect upward of 2,000 fun people to be there celebrating Halloween. The ball is from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday at Exit 66 (219 S. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). Tickets cost $25 in advance at the Fetish Factory store in Oakland Park -- or online at fetishfactory.com/Halloween. The store has cool Halloween outfits for sale: a clown, a butcher, an insane guy outfit, if you still need garb. It's 30 at the door, cash only.
