Dave Barry and Alan Zweibel will be stopping in at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale (1 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) at 6 p.m. Saturday to stump for their new, collaborative novel, Lunatics. Mired in the middle of a political free-for-all, we are well aware that stump speeches can be deadly boring. All the more reason to listen for an hour or so to two men who are paid to be funny. Lunatics pokes fun at Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Charo, and both political parties en masse as two guys from New Jersey accidentally set off revolutions and cause world peace. The event is free, but MOAFL asks that you RSVP early to make sure you get a spot, as seating is limited. Additionally, RSVPing will enter you to win a signed copy of Lunatics.
