The folks at C&I Studios have introduced a $1 movie night inside their massive photo/design studio in Fort Lauderdale's FAT Village neighborhood. The event takes place the first Saturday of every month and welcomes families and friends to get together and enjoy a fun, budget-friendly flick on C&I's giant, 30-foot projector screen. There is plenty of room to lay out blankets and pillows, as well as some big comfy couches for your lounging pleasure. So really, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The film is chosen democratically the day before the event, through a poll on C&I's Facebook page. Everyone is invited to vote for her flick pick. For the May 5 movie ballot, choose from Jurassic Park, The Goonies, or The Sandlot. C&I Studios is located at 541 NW First Ave., Fort Lauderdale.
