Try as you might, you could never feasibly hit up more than two dozen culinary destinations in one night - at least, not without accruing a hefty dinner bill and a few speeding tickets along the way. The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce Fine Food and Wine Festival tonight allows the opportunity to sample the work of 25 South Florida chefs and specialty stores in one convenient locale. Casa d'Angelo, Sicilian Oven, Olympia Flame, Cafe Maxx, and the recently opened Ernie's Italian Chophouse are among the restaurants that will be represented. Drinks are part of the deal, with Organic Wine Cellars, Brown Distributing, and Blue Martini, among others, bringing adult beverages to the party. The festival is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, and tickets cost $60 presale, or $70 at the door. If you spring for the VIP treatment ($85), you'll get early admission at 5:30 p.m. The festival is at the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek at 555 NW 62nd St. in Fort Lauderdale.
