There should never be a problem with immigrants coming to this country - lets face it - we are all immigrants. What there is a problem with is the way in which they come to this country and the fact that once they are here they become a debt to our society. First, every and anyone who enters this country should be documented and immunized. Weren't your parents brought over and passed through Ellis Island? Weren't they sprayed and checked for diseases? Weren't they required to have the correct immunizations? Wasn't that and isn't that for the safety of all US citizens? Second, if you come here, like our ancestors, you must learn the language. Did anyone offer telephone conversations, street signs and television and radio stations in their language? Third, when your ancestors came here was there free healthcare, hospitalization, or any other give mes offered? This is a big issue. It is hard enough in this day and age to take care of ones self. Americans are known for their care and charity to others, but really is it our responsibility to provide and pay? Who pays and provides for the American middle class?
