Crane's BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar

82 Gleason St.
Delray Beach, FL 33483

Category: Bars and Clubs

Region: Delray Beach

When you think of a Key West-style tiki bar, you instantly think of the abolition of slavery, amirite? Well, after this you will. On behalf of the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum in Delray Beach, the Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar will host a Juneteenth Celebration Thursday honoring the oldest-known commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. This is all a part of Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel’s Third Thursday Fun-Raisers, a series of fundraising activities that benefit local nonprofit organizations — something the Spady Museum knows all about. In fact, this is its third-annual Juneteenth Celebration at the hotel. The museum itself is dedicated to showcasing the African-, Haitian-, and Caribbean-American cultural contributions to the artistic landscape of Florida and the U.S., making it the perfect location for such a celebration. Fundraising will include lots of raffle prizes, including tickets to SunFest, Improv Comedy Club, and major sports events; gift certificates to some of the area’s best restaurants; and lunch with WPTV NewsChannel5 sports anchor Jason Pugh. Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar is located at 82 Gleason St. in Delray Beach. Admission is $25 per person, and tickets can be purchased online. Visit spadymuseum.org.
