Circuses are an American tradition, but they also have a bad — often well-deserved — reputation on animal-rights issues. Still, there's a lot to enjoy, which explains why the tradition hangs on. Hold onto your seat as the aerialists shoot out of a giant catapult soaring over the crowd. Oooh and Ahhh over the daredevil motorcyclists who defy gravity in the "Globe of Doom." If you still don't know whether you're pro- or anti-circus, decide for yourself at the Piccadilly Circus, with showings at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Tickets cost $8 to $42 with a special buy-one, get-one-free deal using the code "circus" online. There will also be a free petting zoo along with camel and pony rides.
