You finally scored a date with the cute, artsy girl (or guy) who sits next to you at the office. Going to dinner and a movie seems too mundane. A walk on the beach is definitely romantic but kinda cheesy for a first date. An evening of miniature golf? That would set the scene for a little competitive flirting — and the fact that it’s inside a museum will make you look all cultured and shit. The Boca Museum of Art (501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton) presents “Big Art: Mini Golf,” a whimsical and completely interactive art show. The “course” has 11 playable holes from a variety of artists, including locals Jeane Cooper, Francisca Pisfil, Charles Falarara, and Sri Prabha. The exhibition runs daily until October 17. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for students with proper ID. Call 561-392-2500, or visit bocamuseum.org.
