But when a 63-year-old man in cutoff camouflage shorts, wraparound sports glasses, a cowboy hat, and a hunting knife walks into a room, it's hard to stop the mind from wandering to a judgmental place. You'll likely end up in that part of the brain that says: This guy's totally a misogynistic, right-wing lunatic with a soft spot for conspiracy theories and a knack for off-colored humor. And you'd be right, if that person is Ted Nugent. The former Amboy Duke told CBS correspondent Jeff Glor earlier this year, "I'm an extremely loving and passionate man, and people who investigate me honestly, without the baggage of political correctness, ascertain the conclusion that I'm a damned nice guy," and a Damn Yankee, at least musically. "And if you can find a screening process more powerful than that, I'll suck your dick." Whoa. Maybe he should keep professional journalists' dicks out of his mouth and stick to one thing we know he's really good at: shredding the guitar.
