False Flags is a Miami new wave band designed around the concept of musical despair and a strategic sense of urgency. They celebrate the release of their newest EP. Special guest Sharyln Evertz of the band Mask Era joins the band on stage for select songs. Fort Myer's own Altus Noumena, a one-man act that uses loop pedals to manifest a larger sound, will be opening the night. DJs LinderSMASH and Kaos will be spinning new wave, 80s, post-punk, and industrial throughout the night. Sponsored by Jerry's Artarama in Deerfield Beach, The Alchemy Art Show will consist of themes such as sorcery, witchcraft, magic, the zodiac, and the elements of earth/wind/fire/water. This special showcase will include paintings, photography, illustration, fashion, and mixed media installations. See above for list of artists.
