Now this is a '70s night we can get behind, one that doesn't involve disco dancing and bell-bottoms. The Strikers, South Florida's professional soccer team, will play at Lockhart Stadium at Saturday evening's Legacy Night, meaning that attendees will be paying admission prices they would have paid in the 1970s, back when the Strikers first, well... struck. So it'll be $5 general admission and $7 reserved seating (as opposed to the usual $13 to $20; yeah, inflation sucks) to see the Strikers square off against the Puerto Rico Islanders, the second seed in their division at the time of this writing. This season, the Strikers and Islanders have an impeccably balanced record of one win, one loss, and one tie against each other. Let's hope tonight's matchup is more exciting than their last battle in August, which ended in an absolutely riveting zero-to-zero draw.
