He is synonymous with women's underpants, bleached-blond hair, and early 2000s strip-club soundtracks. But before Sisqó went solo and opened up about his thong fetish, he was a founding member of Dru Hill. Although many feared that "Thong Song" would ultimately crush the possibility of a Dru Hill reunion, diehard Sisqó fans remained hopeful. In 2010, their positive vibes paid off when the Baltimore, Maryland, R&B group released InDRUpendance Day and began playing gigs together again. Later this month, Dru will share a stage with baby-making music royalty Kelly Price for the "Forever R&B" concert at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables. Price's latest record, Kelly, was released a little over a year ago, and it was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2012 Grammys. She didn't win, but Price did manage to score a duet with Whitney Houston a few days before the awards. In fact, the surprise appearance at Price's pre-Grammy party was Houston's final performance. The two women sang a song about Jesus while Kelly called Houston a "class act." Three days later, Whitney accidentally drowned. "Things people want to allude to are not what I saw," Price told Rolling Stone shortly after Houston's death, defending her friend against accusations of wild drug use. "There was no craziness going on, absolutely none of it." And there will be absolutely none of it at her Miami show either. Just "Forever R&B."
