There are many reasons to dread playing catchup with the family over the holidays, not the least of which is an overbearing aunt who won't shut the hell up about the lack of a spouse at your side. Increase the odds that you'll have someone special to name-drop, and take a trip around the dance floor at Saturday night's Mega Singles Dance. Al Cabrera & the Cachet Band will play a mix of danceable tunes at the single-and-ready-to-mingle event sponsored by Plenty of Fish, Meet Up Groups, and Stepping Out Florida. It takes place from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Pavilion Grille, inside the Stonegate Bank Building Atrium, 301 Yamato Road, Boca Raton. Dinner begins at 6.
