When you were younger, arts and crafts were great. You got to use your imagination to make even the most ridiculous finger painting look, in your mind, like the grandest castle. Now, when adults hear the word craft, it’s mostly associated with beer. But hey, enough of that and you can still imagine you’re in the grandest castle — you just wake up the next day with a hangover reminding you that standing on two trash cans at 3 a.m. holding someone’s used paper-towel roll does not a knight in shining armor make. The Young At Art Museum, located at 751 SW 121st Ave. in Davie, is having its annual multimedia and interactive art exhibition and fundraising raffle. There will be craft beer there, for pairing that with the right cheese is an art of its own. Various other art activities include ceramics and recording sessions. There will also be cocktails and hors d’oeuvres placed throughout the museum. The event takes place on Friday from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets cost $35. Call 954-424-0085, or visit youngatartmuseum.org.
