Bring Your Sugar Daddy to "Sugar Babies"

Here in South Florida, we're used to seeing sugar daddies parking their 1967 Chevys in more modern garages, if you know what I mean. There are even sugar mommas, who have ridden the cougar train all the way to happy town since Demi Moore made cougars cool by jumping Ashton Kutcher. But sugar babies are a new one. And no, they're not the illegitimate love children of the aforementioned sugar parents (thankfully). "Sugar Babies" is a series of sketches and musical numbers presented by the Tamarac Theatre of Performing Arts and performed by a talented group of actors and singers. They've got innuendo and double-entendres delivered with hilariously perfect timing throughout the show. Located at 7143 Pine Island Road in Tamarac, the theater will run "Sugar Babies" through March 10 on Saturdays at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. The cost is $25 per ticket. Call 954-726-7898, or visit ttopa.org.
Sat., Feb. 16, 2 & 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: Feb. 16. Continues through March 10, 2013
