It's the age-old question: What came first, The Walking Dead TV show or The Walking Dead comic book. Die-hard fans know the answer is the comic book, and the anticipation for "All Out War" in issue number 115 has grown almost as fast as the zombies of 28 Days Later can run and definitely faster than Romero zombies can run. Luckily for fans, Tate's is throwing an After Dark Zombie Pajama Party in honor of the latest issue. This celebration of all things brain-eating comes complete with free Walking Dead "All Out War" postcards and posters, live performance (with spoilers) at 9:45 and 11:45 p.m., and free zombie makeup by Keegan -- a local face and body artist. For those not in the know, this is the first issue of the monster event All Out War, which will pit Rick Grimes and his gang of survivors against the other factions in The Walking Dead universe. Tate's will also be selling "The Walking Dead #115 Midnight Release Party Variant" for $2.99. Not only that, but all fans who come dressed as zombies in PJs will get 20 percent off the purchase of any one item of their choice. And if you're worried you might end up with a craving for brains but all that will be available is room-temperature brains, don't be, because Zombie Ice will be parked out front for brain-freezing refreshments. The After Dark Zombie Pajama Party will take place Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. at Tate's, located at 4566 N. University Drive in Lauderhill. Call 954-748-0181, or visit tatescomics.com.
