It wasn't long ago that
New Times Broward-Palm Beach was just a weekly paper with a website on the side. A weekly paper written by reporters who won boatloads of awards, mind you, including the Livingston Award, multiple Green Eyeshade awards, and more state awards than you could hit with a tabloid. In recent years, the dead tree version has given birth to what we'd like to think is Florida's best news website. There's a bit of breaking news and regular web-only features. We've got dining news from the
Clean Plate Charlie blog. The
County Grind blog offers up what you missed in music from yesterday -- and what's happening tonight. And
The Pulp blog offers a day's worth of news told in New Times style. So yeah, our print circulation grew tenfold since 1997. But today, we're a daily news website with an order of weekly paper on the side.
