There are weird myths, like the story of Oedipus and his mum. And then there are extra weird myths — like that yarn about Keith Richards getting his blood changed in Switzerland so he could kick heroin. But perhaps we’re always drawn to myths precisely because we can’t explain them, and in Richards’ case, probably wouldn’t want to anyway.

This Saturday, head to the Museum of Contemporary Art at Goldman Warehouse (404 NW 26th St., Wynwood, Miami) to see Pivot Points, Part 2: New Mythologies. Get your fill of myth-making as you look over various pieces from MOCA’s permanent collection. Admission is free. Call 305-573-5441, or visit www.mocanomi.org.
