April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and there’s never been a better reason to wear blue. Show your support for abused children in our country and wear blue all month long, or take an even greater stand and join child advocates in your own community and across the nation in the Million March Against Child Abuse in West Palm Beach. For the first time in history, Americans in 200 cities in 50 states nationwide will walk together in peaceful demonstrations to raise awareness of crimes against our children and to ask lawmakers to put our children first. Join the march on Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the sidewalks of the Palm Beach County Courthouse, located at 205 North Dixie Highway in downtown West Palm Beach. The event is free and open to men, women and children of all ages. Participants are encouraged to make signs and to wear royal blue or white shirts to show unity.
